A Package

Andrew arrived at our doorstep in Sacramento today preparing to pick some things up at our house since he has been staying at his parents in Elk Grove while I have been up here in Oregon. Well, much to his surprise, we had a package waiting by our doorstep behind some bushes. He was very surprised about this because he was just over at our house yesterday checking the mail and putting things away (plus we do not have the money to be ordering anything unless it is for school such as books) before he drove off to school which is about 30 minutes away from our house. Back to the package, Andrew found a note in an envelope that was on top of the package. He opened the envelope and the note read:

Dear Andrew and Kathleen,
Happy Anniversary! We know this first year has been tough on you and you have had many struggles. We know that God is preparing you for the future and that you He will continue to guide and direct you. We wanted to give you a present for your anniversary so you can hopefully celebrate your first year together by making some lasting memories. We hope you can enjoy the gift!
