In my life, I have tried to please people if it is in friendships, with my professors, with my bosses, or just people I encounter on a daily basis. Lately, I have had a hard time saying no as far as when I can and cannot work. I have become really flexible in my work schedule because I want to please people, but not only that, this is how I was raised to be flexible. My time at work I feel is a time to work. God has given me the ability to work and when He gives me the hours to work, why not. But there are times when my schedule gets rearranged due to other people's schedule and their inflexibility, then I miss out on things that I had scheduled. Am I supposed to drop everything according to that other person's inflexibility? Am I responding to God in the right way with grumbling, or do I take this as a blessing and know God is truly taking care of Andrew and myself? Right now, I am trying to figure out who to please ultimately....I realize yes it should be our Heavenly Father first...but who comes second? I am thankful that I have two jobs right now where I am able to work and allow our Heavenly Father to provide through me working. Yes, I am exhausted, but He did give me these six days to turn my eyes to Him and allow Him to provide rest through me. God thank you for giving me the ability to work and thank you for providing hours for me to provide for my family right now, but YOU are the ultimate provider!

Funny

*This is not to make fun of any blonde people that I know*

During a recent password audit at a company, it was found that a blonde receptionist was using the following password:

"MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofySacramento"

When asked why she had such a long password, she said she was told that it had to be at least 8 characters long and include at least one capital.

Spending Time with Family

Lately, we have been busy. Kathleen has been working lots of hours either at the school substitute teaching and also working on the weekends for the Portland Spirit. She has been working a lot, but we have been able to find time to hang out with family especially our nieces and nephews. In the past 5 days we have been able to baby sit some of them and enjoy taking their pictures. Here are just a few. My dad wanted a picture of all his grandchildren together so there is the latest picture of them down below.

Right now, we are thankful to be living at Kathleen's parents' house for the time being. We are thankful that they have opened their house for us to stay and we are praying that God would provide a place for us to rent fairly cheap while we both are still working on our Master's as well as working. We are excited where God will lead us next because He has provided Kathleen with more than consistent hours working which she is exhausted, but knows that God gives her strength to get through each and every day. Thank you for your prayers because we know God continues to work in us.

Enjoy the pictures below. We are thankful we are able to have these nieces, nephews, and family to enjoy this time!

Coming Events: Andrew's 1st master's graduation. Kathleen and Andrew both finishing another semester of their master's. Kathleen continuing to work. Plus many more things to look forward to this year.
