Andrew and I are one week into the P90 program. We did the fat burn session first and we stuck to it! We woke up early on some days since I had to work and also for church and let me tell you it felt good to wake up and getting working out done early! I lost 6.2 pounds the first week and it was great to see those numbers. It makes working on how I eat, when I eat, and what to eat much better. My goal is to fit into a size 10 dress for my good friend Katie's wedding in December. I know I can do it because I have a great support system in my husband, family, and friends. I am thankful that I decided to cancel my gym membership and do this because then Andrew and I are able to work out together and also not having to drive to the gym every day.
Right now Andrew is in an interview at Western Seminary. He really wants this job and it would be great! It would accommodate his school schedule and he would be able to go to class and be right there for his job. Plus WS is on the way to the PS so I could drop him off and pick him up or vice versa. We will let you know what comes from this interview.
As of right now, we continue to pray for what God has in store for us this fall. There are some job opportunities for me at a school that I am going to apply for. We are also just praying about when to move out of my parents' house. We are praying that God has in store for us these jobs or something better and then find an affordable place to live.
Plenty of stuff going on, but it is nice to not work so many days straight. I am thankful God is taking care of us and He knows what He is doing. We just trust in our Heavenly Father right now and always!

Muscles = Sore
Andrew and I decided to purchase the P90 workouts. He received a gift certificate from Amazon.com, so he decided to graciously purchase this for the both of us. Monday was supposed to be D-day which it was. We started one work out, but then a recommendation came from our friends the Peirce's that we should do the six day fat burning work-outs before starting the P90. So, yesterday we started the fat burning work-outs and they are GREAT, but they burn my muscles for sure. Reminds me of the days of training camp and feeling a good sore after wards (I think it was good anyways). Well, with the work out plan, they also put you on a diet that is tailored to losing more weight. I am excited to lose weight for sure and it is a great work out plan because right now as it is raining in Oregon, but I do not like how much I cannot eat. I am feel hungry, I feel and am grouchy, I am frustrated, and more hungry. I know this will all pass once we get into the swing of this work out plan, but man oh man why did I let myself go. I am the one that has done this to myself, no one else. I am praying that God will give me the strength to continue to be more disciplined in my eating and working out habits. I would like to become more healthy and I am thankful that Andrew is doing this with me even though he just wants to become "ripped." I will spare everyone from the before pictures and hopefully I am able to show off a "leaner" Kathleen.

Date Day
Andrew and I have been hanging out all day because I did not have to work this weekend!!!!! We woke up to my alarm that was set for yesterday and I forgot to turn it off. I woke up before that so that was okay, it was just Andrew who woke up to it. We began the day with going to the Gresham Farmer's Market, which was the opening day. We enjoyed it, but did not look much since we do now own a home or live in a place where we could decorate with plants. I just can't wait until it is berry season. After coming home after a short walk there, we relaxed a bit then walked over to Gresham Station. Looked around Borders and at Disneyland books, then off to Coldstone we went. We had a buy one, get one free so hey why not use it! Now we are back home relaxing and thinking about what to make for dinner. My parents are in Spokane for my sister Anna's master's graduation, so it is just the hubs, brother, and at me home this weekend. Least it is a gorgeous beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest! =)

Principal?
Today, I got to play school principal for the school that I have been subbing at for my sister. Let me tell you that his job is very difficult and I am amazed how much he has to do. Who knew how much goes into his job until you actually step into his shoes. I only worked four hours and I only saw a glimpse of his job. I am thankful that I was able to see what he does, glad that he will be back tomorrow, but most of all he was able to take time off to relax and reflect to prepare for the end of the school year.
On another note, I finished my third semester of grad school. Got an A and A- which I am disappointed about the A-. Why can I just not be happy that they are in the A range? Thankful for only three more semesters to go!!! =)
