TRUST

During this period in our life, we are learning to TRUST in the Lord in all that we do. We are at a stage in our lives where we are attending school (Andrew) and about to start school again (Kathleen). We are also within the next 8 months (if earlier that would be awesome) we are planning on moving up to Oregon so Andrew will be able to attend Western Seminary to complete his second masters which he can only do up there. Of course, this is according to God's plan, not our own. In the meantime, we are leaning on the Lord for jobs down here or to open doors up in Oregon for jobs. We are running low on financial assistance (money) and we just got to continue to TRUST in the Lord to provide and keep persevering to find jobs. There are days or sometimes weeks when we do become frustrated because we don't know what God's plan is. We are trying to be diligent in all that we do and yes we have screwed up in some areas, but we have learned from our mistakes and continually grow from them. If you would be willing to pray for us right now as we seek to figure out God's will for our life is, to figure out when the best time is to move back up to Oregon, for financial assistance in paying our bills and also financial aid for our schooling. Most of all, pray that we continue to TRUST, RELY, and DEPEND on the Lord with all that we have! We appreciate the prayers and we hope we can soon let you know what doors God is opening and closing for us. Thank you.

Happy Birthday Little Man!

Today we celebrated the first birthday of our landlord's grandson and the birthday of our landlord's daughter. Yes, Little Man was born on the same day as his momma's, so it was great to get together and celebrate both. The weather turned beautiful just in time for the party and it turned out to be such a great party. Great food, great friends, and great presents. We really are truly blessed by our landlord and they are very giving to us. We are also thankful for the friendships we have with their daughters, son-in-laws, and grandson. Here are a few pictures from a few months ago of Aiden because we do not have any recent pictures.

On another note, we have done some major spring cleaning which spring started on Friday morning early. We have gotten rid of boxes from the wedding, organized our garage, organized stuff in our closets, and more. Oh, how it feels so nice to have some things organized. Need to do more, but that will come. By the way, the weather down here has been gorgeous. I think it is supposed to be in the 70's this week. =)

For those of you that are Oregonians, I just wanted to inform for you today was a very gorgeous day in Sacramento, California. Andrew and I were able to go out and play tennis for about two hours after applying for some jobs and enjoy the beautiful blue sky. I don't mean to brag because I know you Oregonians are dealing with rain, cold, possibly snow, wind, and whatever, but I just wanted to let you know there is hope out there. If you come to visit us in California, I won't promise, but I will make you aware of that bright thing in the sky and blue sky. The other day I actually got to wear shorts...I was thinking about flip-flops too, but just stuck with shorts. Well, I hope you stay warm Oregonians even though I miss it too!!! =)

Fireproof

We just finished watching Fireproof and we would recommend it for any married couple. The message that was told in the movie is absolutely true and makes you realize that God instituted marriage to be sanctified and glorified. If you need to watch this because of trouble in your marriage or just because your marriage is going great, PLEASE DO!!!!!! If you are not married, please realize that this movie will serve its purpose one day and really is a great tool if you are engaged to start your "marriage" life on the right foot.

Thankful

Today we received a little package in the mail from a college friend. We were so thankful for our friend's generosity and giving heart and attitude! We are truly thankful and blessed by our friend and we just wanted to personally say thank you. Thank you for serving our great God and allowing Him to lead your life. God provides even if it is a note in the mail, an email just to say hi, or in different situations. We are feeling extremely blessed and continuing allowing God to lead our lives. Thanks again dear friend! =)
