Amy is visiting her family and Matt's family in Oregon and she was
visiting with Matt's sister and her sons up in Portland. The best part
of this is that Amy was in Gresham at a yogurt shop with her sister in
law when she sent me a picture of a Gresham sign. Amy knows how much I
miss home since we talk on the phone on a weekly basis and sent this to
me to let me know she is thinking of me and that she is in my hometown. I
told her that she should visit my parents new home and give them a hug.
Well, Amy, Nicole (s-i-l)., Ava, and nephews decided to stop on the way
back to Nicole's!! What a blessing Amy is!!! I am blessed by her
friendship, but even more blessed that she is willing to go to my
parents' house to give them a hug and have her meet one of her
daughter's (even before I have met her daughter in person)! Thanks Amy
for going out of your way to see them. The awesome part is that I got to
enjoy this visit as well via Skype. Once again thankful for my friend
Amy and the time we get to spend on the phone a weekly basis, our
memories that we share together, and her knowing my family and me
knowing her family!!! =) Thanks again Amy!!!
