Praise!

Today, I started a long-term substitute teaching position at the school that I have done long-term jobs in the past. The job is in ELD (English Language Development) and it is 20 hours a week. There might be more hours, but it all depends on if teachers need an afternoon sub or not. I am praising the Lord for this position because it is steady pay for now and a consistent 20 hours a week which the days would fluctuate because of the lack of jobs or many subs wanting those jobs. I am happy the Lord has provided this job for Andrew and I because this means we are able to use the money that the Lord is providing to pay all our bills. The Lord's timing is always perfect.

BUT....

I ask that you PRAY! The teacher that I am doing a long-term sub job was in a horrible car accident over the weekend with her two children. The youngest of her two children I was blessed to teach last fall when I did my fall long-term sub job at the school. The family consists of a mom and her two children which whom are Christians. Please pray for the mom as she has two broken legs and needs lots of recovery time. Please also pray for the community to surround this family and show them the love that they show others. Right now they are still in Bend trying to recover before coming back to Portland. Please pray, pray, pray.

Thankful to our GREAT God that He is spared these three lives and continues to grow their testimonies (they have had many trials in their life...so far). Thankful that I am able to take over for a Christian mom in her teaching position and know that we serve a GREAT God together.
