On Sunday, my parents received the key to their new house via me!! My parents were at a church small group barbecue and the realtor dropped the key off to me at the townhouse. Once we received the key, my brother Doug, Andrew, and I loaded our cars up and started taking the first few loads over to the new house. Monday was the BIG move in day and we were completely moved out Monday. Tuesday was just vacuuming the townhouse and doing a quick wipe down. The buying process for my parents have been a long one, but so thankful that God has provided a beautiful house for my parents to live in. This will help my mom out tremendously so she does not have to do stairs and be back in the same bedroom with my dad.
Andrew and I have spent plenty of time organizing our room. Changed our bed around a few times to accommodate the space. We are thankful to have a room in this gorgeous house. The perfect size for my parents and for us living here for the time being. We actually have some clothes put away and not living out of boxes too much!!! =) Still lots to do. We have the garage half way organized which is amazing compared to the garage at the townhouse was small and hard to organize. Amazing what you find in a garage.
Pictures will come once we have more things put away and after we take our many vacations. One thing that was awesome is that the Fox crew drove through on the way back up to Washington and stopped by to see the new house and eat lunch. Thankful that we were able to see friends even though in two weeks we will see them again, but up at their place. Well off to get more done and wanted to give a quick update. Vacation is in 5 days!! =)
