Saturday Breakfast

Last Saturday, my oldest brother Josh hosted a Saturday breakfast. We have not had a breakfast with the whole family in a very long time, but it was very enjoyable. All the grandchildren were there and almost all 6 Studenny children were there. I remember these breakfast-es growing up as a kid....normally it was some delicious french toast, bacon, and some fruit. I remember I could eat french toast like no other (of course I was playing soccer everyday so the calories fat stayed away. The fat seems to stay now-a-days, so I have to be careful what I eat. My mom, dad, and brother made a delicious meal such fruit salad, sausage, toast, chicken friend steak, eggs, and juice. A wonderful meal with me almost choking, but as you can see I survived. A great time after breakfast with the sun coming out, the nieces and nephews riding bikes and a scooter, and playing with Diesel (brother's dog). After a bit of playing, we came back inside to pray for our family and the specific needs that each family within our big family has. So far, God has answered prayers about my mom being at the Mayo Clinic this week in Phoenix to get a second opinion and my brother made it safely for his first leg of his trip before being deployed out of country. Thankful that we get to spend this time with family and grow closer with each other, but also in the Lord and relying on Him to get us through each and everyday.
