Today Andrew and I purchased tickets for Phoenix in December. My family have all decided to have one Christmas in Phoenix with my mom's side of the family and this year we are doing it. I got a flight for a round trip flight for $7.50 because I got a free flight thanks to Southwest. We are very excited because we are going to spend more time than expected down there because Andrew has not met all of my mom's side of the family. We are thankful that God has given us this opportunity to spend with my family. Right now we are all focusing on spending more time with our families and enjoying who God has blessed us with.
A week ago today we arrived back from Sacramento, California visiting his parents and friends. This time was very relaxing and I got to enjoy reading a book for pleasure. This NEVER happens anymore since I am still in school. In Sacramento, we were able to go out to eat plenty of times thanks to his parents having gift cards. Got to see friends who moved to Missouri because he is in the Army. We got to go to a drive-in movie theater and me falling asleep during the movie. We got to help friends put together their nursery as they eagerly await their baby boy in a month and a half. We worked out every day....which has stopped until Sunday which we will start up again and be on a much better diet (well for Kathleen only).
Saturday, Kathleen played in her alumni game. She had fun seeing friends, but enjoyed her time with her parents and Andrew at dinner that night. She got a pretty wound from slide tackling and couldn't sleep that night.
We both are keeping busy by searching for jobs, preparing for a new semester, and enjoying family. Also, Kathleen is basking in her glory as she beat her younger brother Doug at Settler's of Catan.
