Busy

Well, Andrew and I have been busy with different things.

We both started school last week in which we have one class each week and sometimes Andrew will have two a week. I will drive to Salem every Thursday night to attend a night class which will be a lot of fun because I can relate what methods I learn to the teaching I will be doing starting in February.

Andrew and I were able to attend my sister's sister-in-law's wedding in Corvallis last Saturday and on the way down we stopped in Woodburn. We found some amazing deals in which I found jeans for $17.50 each and two sweaters that were each $9.09. Andrew found a pair of jeans for around $11. Yes, Andrew went into GAP and bought something!

Andrew and I were able to hang out with Katie Casebeer as she stayed at my parent's house. We had a great time and love always being able to see her, hang out with her, and of course take many pictures of her!!! We get to see her this weekend too!!!!! =)

Andrew and I were able to go to the Troutdale GAP Outlet to check to see if they had more of Andrew's pants that were in his size and he found them even cheaper for around $8. Amazing!!! We also bought my niece a cute purple polka dotted puffy vest.

Andrew and I also started a class at church on Wednesday nights called Financial Peace University. We are very excited to dive into all the material and take what we learn and apply it to our lives. We are saving for our emergency fund!!!

I started work at the Portland Spirit again in which I will pick up days on the weekends when needed. I am excited that the Lord opened this opportunity for us as we will have more income coming in to pay for an apartment or a place where the Lord wants us.

The other day we went to Cost Plus because for my birthday I received a $10.00 free gift certificate from them. I bought a cute 4 cups + tea kettle for $4.99!

Today, we went to Papa's Pizza and each got a mini taco pizza for FREE!!! We just signed up for mobile rewards and we each got a pizza. Can't beat FREE!!!

This year our goals are to:

use coupons and get the best use out of God's money.

to save money for God Knows What He is Doing emergency fund.

Andrew find a job.

to find a place to rent with a reasonable price and if possible close to seminary.

to enjoy what God has in store for us and let Him guide us.

There are plenty of other things we will be working on individually as well as a couple and we are excited to share those in the future.

Plenty of things we are doing that God continues to show us and provide for us. Right now we need to get busy reading and get our school work done that is due tomorrow (Andrew) and Thursday for me.
