Andrew and I had a busy day visiting friends in two different states yesterday. Andrew was able to go down with his mom to Vallejo to visit Sam Robinson and his parents. Sam's parents just moved up to Vallejo from Watsonville, California so it was a nice trip for Andrew to see his best friend as well as his mom to see her best friends. His mom went to college at good ole' Western Baptist (back in the day) and then Sam and Andrew have known each other all their lives. They have been so blessed by each other's friendship and also going to WB together. Sam gets to share in our special day with us as he stands as Andrew's best man. Thank you Sam and your parents for being such faithful and loyal friends to Andrew and his parents.
I got to go to Olympia, Washington with Katie and Sue Casebeer. Danae Peirce had a baby shower for her soon-to-be arrival of her daughter Peyton Stacy Peirce. Her mother Cherri did a wonderful and cute job of putting this baby shower on and it was so great to see Danae and her family, Paul's family, and former Corbanites Ronda, Keagan, and Meghan Cruz. We literally ran into Meghan, Ronda, and Keagan at the Nike Clearance Store in Centrailia, Washington so that was fun to see them and a wonderful surprise that they were also going to the baby shower. Yes, I had to buy shoes at the Nike store. After the shower, we helped unload the amazing gifts that Danae received at her house and then the whole crew (minus, Cruzer, Ronda, and Keagan) went out to Mexican food. Yes, chips and salsa! After that Sue, Katie, and myself went to the luxurious Red Lion Inn. We were upgraded to a very nice suite and we according to Sue were having a bachelorette party. Yes, 30 minutes after we arrived at the hotel, we were knocked out in our comfortable beds. For all of those that know I do not like touch, I slept in my own bed with four comfortable pillows. We ended the weekend today by me driving the mini van back to Gresham so Sue could see my church (where the wedding is and she is also my wedding coordinator). Katie (a beautiful bridesmaid of mine) and I just enjoyed talking and being able to see each other. Thank you Katie and Sue for a wonderful weekend even though I did have to wear my clothes two days in a row. =)

Thanks for the kind words. I am honored to stand by Andrew's side at your wedding.
Did you say you don't like to be touched when you are sleeping? Pretty sure you cuddled with me in your sleep and kicked me a ton as my bed buddy on many soccer trips.
